Max Sansalone, known for his tight grooves across the board, his bubbling inner clock and sensitive musical approach to drumming, started his educational journey at The Berklee College of Music with Ed Uribe, Jon Hazilla and conga virtuoso Giovanni Hidalgo.His love for Afro-Latin music sparked his consequent studies with master drummers in Peru and Cuba. In addition to 100's of studio sessions for original recording projects, film scores, jingles and television, add to that, a roster of 1000's of local and international performances including legendary DJ Kid Koala, Rickie Lee Jones, Martha Wash, Jidenna, Nate Wonder and many more.
During the last few years Max has been very active in his home town Montreal, Quebec performing live and in the studio. Simultaneously, he has devoted much time and energy to teaching and sharing what he has learned over the years with his many students, supporters and Youtube subscribers .
